Recommended Mini-Series

I need to make this addition to my films list. To truly appreciate film, one should occasionally watch a mini-series or two, as many auteurs have created artistic and film-quality productions for television.

However, it feels inappropriate almost to include a mini-series among a list of films, as it's not technically the same format. However, there are many incredible programs out there.
